Local Opportunities to Serve

Upcoming Opportunities
Packing Box web copy copy
In the Month of May Centerpoint will partner with Blue & Gold Star Moms to send care packages to our deployed men and women in the military.  You can pick up an empty box on the courtyard starting April 28 and again on May 5, 12 & 19. All filled boxes must be returned by Sunday, May 26. If if is within your budget, please consider including a check payable to Centerpoint Community Church for $14.35 to help cover the cost of mailing.  And on Wednesday, May 29 we will be assembling and labeling all the boxes. If you would like to be part of the "packing party" contact Sharon Wurst.  A list of suggested items for the boxes is below, and please note that due to heat and shipping requirements there can be NO chocolate or aerosol or glass containers.  If you prefer to purchase items and not try to fill a box you may bring the items in a bag and they will be packed at our "packing party" on May 29 and sent to our troops.  Thank you as we honor our military.
